Whilst the construction in Greater Prague focused during the first three months of 2017 on „big box projects, in the regions we can see the activity divided into multiple projects defined by smaller extent, typically up to 15 000 sq m.

Logistic parks tied to the region of Prague expanded in the first quarter primarily thanks to the FMCG sector. Development company CTP hit the ground in the CTPark Prague North with construction of modern semi-automatic distribution center for their client Makro, totalling 53 014 sq m. In P3 Park Prague D11 was finished the DC1 building, offering 39 282 sq m, where more than one third is taken by the logistic company FM Logistic operating for Nestlé.

On the market can also be seen ongoing interest of investors for locations with developed infrastructure to the German market, such as the regions of Pilsen and Ústí nad Labem. In CTPark Bor the construction of 40 130 sq m warehouse was finished, where more than 26 000 sq m is already taken by the German company Weltbild and additional 2 400 will be occupied by another German client. Ústí nad Labem region sees the completion of warehouse K6 in CTPark Teplice, where the new clients include Kühne Nagel and Pro Direct Sport and also the construction start of new building in Green Square Teplice project.

Significant construction activity is registered also in the Olomouc region, as the company VGP is starting the development of multiple warehouse units totalling more than 28 000 sq m. Construction is progressing also in Moravskoslezský region, as the speculative construction in CTPark Nový Jičín has begun.
